Currency List

Overview #

The Currency List feature in the admin dashboard allows administrators to view and manage all the currencies available on the platform. This interface provides a comprehensive view of each currency’s details and offers direct editing capabilities for certain fields, facilitating efficient management.

  1. Access the Currency List:
    • From the admin dashboard, navigate to the Currency section.
    • Click on Currency List to view the list of all available currencies.

Table Fields #

The Currency List is displayed in a table format with the following columns:

  • Currency Name: The name of the currency.
  • Sort Currency: The order in which the currency is displayed on the home page, based on sort order.
  • Type: The currency code (e.g., USD, EUR).
  • For: Specifies whether the currency is used for sending, receiving, or both.
  • Gateway: The payment gateway associated with the currency.
  • Reserve: The current reserve amount for the currency. This value is editable directly from the table. Change the value and press enter to save.
  • Fee: The currency exchange fee. This value is editable directly from the table. Change the value and press enter to save.
  • Fee Type: Specifies whether the fee is fixed or a percentage. This can be changed from a selectable option in the table.
  • Status: Indicates the current status of the currency (Active/Inactive). The status can be toggled directly from the table.
  • Action: Options to edit or delete the currency.

Field Descriptions #

  • Currency Name: Displays the name/title of the currency.
  • Sort Currency: Allows setting the display order of the currency on the home page.
  • Type: Shows the code representing the currency.
  • For: Indicates whether the currency is used for sending, receiving, or both transactions.
  • Gateway: The payment gateway that supports this currency.
  • Reserve: The amount of currency reserved. Editable directly from the table.
  • Fee: The fee applied to currency exchanges. Editable directly from the table.
  • Fee Type: The type of fee applied (Fixed or Percentage). Changeable from a dropdown selection.
  • Status: Shows whether the currency is active or inactive. Toggle to change the status.
  • Action: Provides options to edit or delete the currency entry.

Usage Instructions #

  1. Navigate to Currency List:
    • Go to the Currency section from the admin dashboard.
    • Click on Currency List to view all currencies.
  2. View and Edit Currencies:
    • Currency Name: View the names of the currencies.
    • Sort Currency: Change the display order by editing the value and pressing enter.
    • Type: View the currency codes.
    • For: Check if the currency is used for sending, receiving, or both.
    • Gateway: View the associated payment gateways.
    • Reserve: Edit the reserve amount directly in the table.
    • Fee: Edit the exchange fee directly in the table.
    • Fee Type: Change the fee type from the dropdown menu.
    • Status: Toggle to change the active/inactive status.
    • Action: Click on Edit to modify the currency details or Delete to remove the currency.

The Currency List provides a centralized and efficient way to manage all currencies on the platform. Administrators can quickly view, edit, and update currency details directly from the table, ensuring the platform’s currency settings are always accurate and up-to-date.
